Selwyn House turn these cake stands from a single piece of fumed oak in their Northamptonshire workshop. Fuming draws the colour deep into the wood, giving a rich, warm brown and bringing the grain to the fore, so each stand carries real depth and character across its surface.

Each stand is turned with a low foot to lift your bakes and a fine rim to keep them in place on the way to the table, then finished with a food-safe, durable hard-wax oil.

Each one is different, so the grain of the stand you receive will vary a little from the photos. Wipe clean only and dry straight away to preserve the finish. Not suitable for the dishwasher or immersing in water.
